As our first full year as an independent European organisation draws to a close, we’ve taken a moment to look back, see what we’ve achieved, what we’ve learnt, and how it’s changed us.

The real stars – our people
Marie-Laetitia Badonnel, Director of Deal Management, and based in our Paris office, explained how her team has made huge improvements in velocity this year. Despite the funnel more than doubling with CORs, quotes, and compliance requests, they drastically decreased answer times by half. This helped the business in 2025 nearly doubletriple the win rate. Laetitia is rightly extremely proud of her team for this incredible achievement, and she credits their secret sauce as being how well they collaborate together, supported by a culture where everyone loves to help each other.
Who are the people behind our service excellence record?
We wanted to bring our behind-the-scenes stars into the spotlight, which we did by filming our Operations team, you can meet them in this video. These are the people who expertly look after our customers at every step – managing complex fibre builds, superfast delivery timescales, and the in-life 24/7 management of the network. They do the hard stuff, so it’s easy for our customers. What’s more, they enjoy it – taking a great deal of pride in delivering, particularly when it’s challenging. They also have a lot of fun together and are a great team to work with.
A personal note from Service Delivery
I caught up with Moira Dicker, who manages the London Service Delivery team, to ask how 2025 has been for her.
“It’s been a year of progress, collaboration, challenge, joy, and one that has reminded me just how much can be achieved when people believe in a shared purpose.
One of the biggest highlights for me has been the elevated recognition that Service Delivery has received. “Best in Class” isn’t just a slogan for us—it’s our differentiator. And this year, it’s really shown its value. Our commitment to reducing Mean Time to Install, maintaining transparent and honest communication, and consistently delighting our customers is paying off. Existing customers feel the difference, and new customers are seeing early proof that partnering with Zayo Europe was the right choice. Even more rewarding has been seeing members of my team rise to the challenge. Our Project Managers have stepped up, taken ownership, and excelled when more has been asked of them. Watching their confidence grow as they embrace accountability has been incredible.
Another pivotal moment this year was being part of an internal initiative designed to strengthen collaboration, empowerment, and strategic influence across the extended leadership team. Being part of this journey with my peers was invigorating. It’s created space for honest conversations, shared goals, and a renewed sense of purpose. We’re already seeing the early impact, with even more potential ahead in 2026. The increased trust and delegation from our Directors and COO enabled leaders like myself to stretch, grow, and show what we’re capable of. It’s exciting to feel that momentum!
Looking ahead, I’m continuing my growth journey by starting my training to become a Samaritan in 2026. Supporting others through difficult times feels like a natural extension of the values I hold close, both at home and at work. So, here’s to a year of growth, gratitude, and meaningful progress, and to the opportunities and challenges that await in 2026.
