London/Paris, 18 September 2024: Zayo Europe has announced the appointment of Jennifer Smith as Chief Financial Officer. The new role, which Smith takes up effective 16 September, is part of the development of Zayo Europe as a standalone entity, and reflects the implementation of a financial strategy that supports the growth of its European footprint.
Smith has previously served on Zayo Europe’s advisory board and has also held CFO and senior finance roles at euNetworks, contributing to her deep knowledge of the unique needs of high-bandwidth customers.
Zayo Europe has also announced the appointment of two new board members, Simone Bonannini and Pascale Labrecque.
Bonannini is an experienced board member and brings a depth of knowledge of the European B2B market from his previous roles at Open Fiber and Interoute. Labrecque, a principal at DigitalBridge, has broad experience in the digital sector in Europe and has also been an observer on Zayo Europe’s advisory board.
Bonannini and Labrecque join Jens Schulte-Bockum, Gavin Patterson, William Lindström, Jonathan Friesel and Per Morten Torvildsen, who are currently members of the Zayo Europe board.
