Per Morten Torvildsen

Per Morten Torvildsen has been serving as a Senior Advisor at EQT since 2010. With over 30 years of experience in senior executive roles and board positions within the datacom and telecom industries, Per Morten has significantly impacted the sector. He has held prominent roles such as CEO of TDC Norway and CEO and Chairperson of Ventelo Group. He is also for the time being EVP in the GlobalConnect Group (EQT owned) (fiber company across Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Germany) responsible for NetCo, covering the Wholesale/carrier business, Network and technology, Datacentres, Operations, IT and Security.

Per Morten’s educational background is impressive, with degrees from prestigious institutions including BI – Norwegian School of Management, NTNU – Norwegian University of Science & Technology, and MIT – Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He holds aMBA and a MSc degree.

Throughout his career, Per Morten has served on numerous Telco and IT boards. He is currently Chairperson in Trisense (IoT company) and GlobalConnect in Norway. Previously, he held positions (EQT owned) such as Chairperson of Broadnet and Tampanet and board member of IP-Only, InFiber, GlobalConnect Group , and Ventelo Trisense ​
