As Chief Business Development and Strategy Officer, Davin Rice leads Zayo Europe’s corporate development and business development functions, driving long-term partnerships, investment strategies, and market expansion initiatives that reinforce Zayo Europe’s position as a pan-European connectivity leader.

With more than 15 years of experience in global fibre infrastructure, Davin brings extensive expertise in backbone transport, optical transmission, and both terrestrial and submarine cable systems. At Amazon Web Services (AWS), he spearheaded global backbone development and subsea engineering, overseeing strategy, investment, and delivery of long-haul fibre connectivity that underpins the AWS global network. Prior to AWS, he held senior roles at euNetworks, where he shaped the commercial success of dark fibre and high-bandwidth solutions across Europe.

Passionate about accelerating growth in the digital infrastructure sector, Davin combines deep technical expertise with strategic insight and commercial acumen. Holding first-class honours in both his Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science degrees, he brings a strong academic foundation to his leadership, and at Zayo Europe, he is focused on building transformative partnerships and advancing initiatives that position the company at the forefront of Europe’s connectivity landscape.
